Crafted by hand in a small woodshop in rural Minnesota, these desks are quality throughout and detailed unlike any production piece of furniture.
Desk construction is solid oak with veneered plywood used only on the back panel and lower inserts. Drawers are all solid birch with solid oak fronts and feature English dovetail construction for strength. All drawers have top-quality full-extension ball-bearing drawer slides for the smoothest operation available. Convenient writing slides pull out over each drawer pedestal for additional workspace. The center locking canvas-backed oak tambour roll-top door conceals a multitude of box and cubby storage.
A dark Briar Oak stain is deep and rich yet reveals the detailed Oak graining patterns. The lacquered finish is done by hand to ensure the highest standards are carried forward resulting in an incredibly satiny smooth feel. All sides are completely finished so this handsome desk can be used anywhere in your room or even as a room divider.
